The meta is up in the air with where it will land, but plenty of decks are able to take advantage of the new Forbidden/Limited list as well as new Xyz Monsters. Not only is there an entirely new Monster type, but a new Duel Links Forbidden/Limited list has come out to balance the game to a more healthy meta. Xyz Monsters are very quickly rising to the top, with a much bigger launch than Synchro Monsters. Consistency and dedication to the deck's objective are important. Updated January 2nd, 2021 by Johnny Garcia: Zexal World has officially arrived and with it, the introduction of Xyz Monsters to Yu-Gi-Oh! Duel Links. Usually you see a mess of 1x Scathe Zombies or some other pile of random single 5 cent commons. These are the best of the best decks when it comes to Duel Links. Some of these decks were so good, if they were fully unrestricted they would still be the best deck despite how much time has passed since their peak. Many decks have had their time in the spotlight, being the best of their respective metas. RELATED: Yu-Gi-Oh! Duel Links: 5 Best Boxes To Buy (& 5 To Avoid) With new cards added every month, Duel Links' metagame is constantly changing, having gone from a slow game to often just as fast as the Yu-Gi-Oh! TCG. Remember there is an option to take mulligan every time you start.Yu-Gi-Oh! Duel Links was introduced to the world in 2016, and during its history, many metagames have come and gone. Having said that - I had vastly different experience and found Liliana's story easiest except for Gideon's.
I think story mode is very good at learning how to play MTG even if you have deck with seemingly lower odds. It's rewarding, gives you an opportunity to think harder and makes all other duels a lot easier thanks to that. Makes you sweat (and swear) until you finally beat the challenge. Even with board wipes I can bring most of the things back and it seems that most decks cant answer zombie spam at the moment. See, that's the *good* game design, actually. I made an older deck of blue black zombies that goes very wide, and am having a ton of success with it. In the OCG, they have (Kokushinry, meaning 'Black Divine Dragon') in their names while. In the TCG, they have 'Necrodragon' as a prefix, while evolution creatures have 'Super Necrodragon' as a prefix. The demons only got 1 turn each before I killed them. Zombie Dragon is a race of Dragon creature in the Darkness Civilization. They were 15/15s by the time the last demon showed up. The deck is much better with the upgrades, I got out the two zombies who get stronger with more zombies. The second to last battle on Liliana I had to try 2 or 3 times too, but the last one I actually got lucky on my first try. Chandra's deck was so fast, hard to lose.

Feel free to browse the collection or add comments about existing decks. I didn't have any problems with Gideon or Jace. Welcome to Magic Duels Wikia's decklists Here you'll find a collection of decks organized by various strategies. I haven't gotten past the third matchup yet, so we'll see if the others are just as frustrating.
Oh yea, they also have just as much if not more removal. Again, not enough removal, and when the opponent is summoning two 3/3 flying first strike vigiliance angels, and other 3/3 flyers, it's hard to beat when your deck only has one flyer, and it's a 2/2. The third opponent is also a terrible matchup. Defiance, Rift, ESO, SWTOR, Chivalry, Demonecromancy and more. The best online. This matcup needs to either a) remove randomness from player or opponent decks OR b) provide a better matchup OR c) allow some level of deck customization. I get that graveyard summoning is the point of this matchup, but there's too much randomness, and the player deck is not fine tuned enough to make it consistent. I finally won with 1 health in my eleventh battle because a lucky forced discard in the beginning of the game got rid of his 4/4 trample which I turned into an 8/8 morbid to stabilize. I lost about 10 games straight because I didn't have enough removal, and my 1/1s to 2/3s just couldn't defeat anything (nor could I get enough out to chump because they just kept summoning). The second opponent can relentlessly build up 3/3s to 5/5s. Liliana's deck is just terrible against the second and third opponents, especially since the game is clearly relying on randomization to make this mode fun (which, it really isn't). Frustrated wth the player and opponent story decks, and not allowing deck customization in story mode.
